So its pretty crazy that I have started my D&C challenge. Pretty much means that I read chapter a day and when I finish I'll be home! Thanks for those keeping me updated on that :)
I hope you guys all had an awesome New Years Eve. Our New Years Eve was definitely unlike any other. In Morgan City fireworks are banned and so not too much happened! Well I decided we had to do something. I remember the good old days as kids with the sparklers and so we drove to walmart and nope still nothing. I thought maybe there would be something cool in the camping section. Well sure enough there was. We bought us some emergency flares and as soon as New Years Hit we lit those suckers! It was a good time! 10minutes of Bright Red Light! Definitely a moment Ill never forget.
I forgot to mention that I got to See Aunty Suzanne and Andy! And Adam too. It was a good time. We went to BWW and had a good time just talking and enjoying company. We can all guess what food Aunty Suzanne ordered.... i mean, who goes to Buffalo Wild Wings and orders a salad.... Hahah just kidding it was awesome seeing them!
This week has been Pretty full on. Another elder in our apartment got Emergency Transferred and so we have another Elder here. It has been a little tough because he came in and pretty much tried to take over everything so we are learning to adjust to that! But it'll be good for us all.
There were a few things going on in the district and so we also had to pull a quick exchange to get things figured out. Elder Barron came to Morgan City for Church sunday. Sunday was one of the BEST days ever. We get there and it is your average sunday in Morgan City. But things quickly changed. A few minutes went by and no joke every solid less-active that we had been working with showed up at church. We had more spanish than english. I was so happy! I felt as though for transfers I might've been getting transferred out and so this was a little miracle or sign on my last sunday that I had been doing good in this area. It was definitely a blessing and motivation to see that :) But nope, I'm staying here again this transfer and it will be a 7 week transfer making this the area I've been in the longest! I love Morgan City!
This week we have a lot of good plans and I am really excited for the blessings and miracles we will see this transfer!
Sorry this isn't a super long one but I just want yall to know I love you and Ill see you soon! 134days... Thanks dad...
