So this week was pretty cool! For one reason Mainly. Tyrell came back which was pretty awesome. Since he has five kids it was super hard for him to get back from New York after making it there for the funeral. I felt bad for the guy because he has gone through alot these past few weeks, and it has all happened after accepting to be baptized.
We got to see him and talk to him for a little while. He is struggling alot with a few things right now. Obviously, supporting a family of 5 with no job is a difficult task, but he is also going through these losses of family members which must be super tough. We sat outside his house for a few minutes on Friday and Saturday and just talked to him about how he can get things rolling. He wakes up every morning at 4 am, to walk his kids a couple miles to the closest bus stop which then carries them across the bridge into the city. He is dedicated!
Also, we got a new investigator this week that the sisters found. He is pretty cool. So we are excited to start working with him. On Sunday he showed up to church in a fresh Silver Suit.
Daniel, another new Investigator we have was awesome this week. He invited us in, we sat down and we started talking. It was real good! We had a great little lesson about the natural man. He was talking about how many people are just so fascinated with wordly things these days and so we talked about that and how we can follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was pretty cool! He has a 19 year old son who is awesome but also two younger children. He told us he was going to try and make it to church buttttt he had an easter activity and so he didnt make it.
Church was awesome. Eddy Lopez, the man that we were teaching and baptized when I was in the westbank the last time passed the sacrament. It was awesome sitting there and watching him do that. Definitely a cool experience receiving the sacrament from someone you helped bring into the church.
This is the last week of the transfer and so we are hoping we finish it off with a good one! Love you all and hope you have a good week!
